Mila

Mila is the AI assistant built into Workiom. It lets you ask questions about your data in plain language and get answers directly in the chat — no filters, formulas, or exports needed. Mila also stays synced with your workspace automatically and can create new records for you when you describe them.

Asking Questions

Open Mila from your workspace and type your question the way you'd ask a teammate. You don't need to use exact field names or status labels.

• Ask using casual phrasing — "the ones marked done" works even if that's not the exact field value
• Typos don't break your search — Mila still finds what you meant
• Describe what you're looking for instead of naming it exactly, and Mila matches records that are genuinely relevant, not just ones with matching keywords
• If your question is too vague to answer, Mila will tell you instead of guessing

Getting Analysis, Not Just Records

Mila can do more than find records — it can work with them.

• Ask for totals, averages, or a breakdown by status, owner, or date range, and Mila calculates it directly in the chat
• Ask it to compare data or spot a trend, and it will
• Ask something that needs judgment rather than an exact filter — like "which of these tasks look like marketing work" — and Mila reasons over the records to give you an answer

Staying Current

Mila automatically stays in sync with your workspace as your data changes. You don't need to reset or refresh anything.

Note: If a record is created while you're actively chatting with Mila in that same session, it won't automatically appear. Sync manually to bring it into the conversation.

Adding Records

You can also ask Mila to create a new record for you.

• Describe the record in plain language, including any details you want captured — for example, "add a complaint about late delivery from John"
• Mila creates the record and places the details into the right fields
• You can add several records in the same request
• Mila can only create new records. It won't modify or delete anything that already exists.

Notes

• Large lists are labeled clearly — for example, "showing 10 of 47" — so you always know if you're seeing the full result
• Mila calculates dates like "today" and "overdue" based on your timezone
• Mila only answers using your Workiom data. It won't answer unrelated questions, reveal how it works internally, or follow instructions found inside a record's content
