Access Your Saved Reports

To access saved reports, go to the left navigation bar and you will see the "Reports" right below your lists. It shows the reports that are pinned. You can view all of your reports by clicking on 'Show all widgets' .

By clicking on a particular report title, you would be able to access its detailed definition, edit it, export it, or delete it.

By default, all produced reports are added as widgets to your application dashboard. To remove it from the dashboard and keep it only under saved reports only, click on the three dots button at the widget top right corner of the and choose the option "**Unpin**".

Create a New Report

To create a new report, click on the 'New Widget' button on the top left corner.

Each report on Workiom is defined as 5 major components, a title, a list from where it is aggregating data from, a type of visualization and representation, and aggregation function.

When you create a report, make sure you are giving it a significant title that reflected its intended purpose. Then choose the list from where you are going to draw your important data.

Once done, you would find a bunch of different settings allowing you to customize your chart view the way you want it to be. Let's dive into these settings!

Type of Reports

Enjoy and create elegant and useful charts for your reports. Have your pick among our many available charts, pie, bars, or stacked chart, or produce meaningful data sets of aggregated data across the board.

Summary: This type allows you to display a result of a numeric function on your data. It could be:

The number of records,
The sum, average, minimum, or maximum value of a specific field (column) in your chosen list.

Bar Chart: Embrace this popular chart to best display amounts divided by different status, people, or products. To build your distinct skyline, follow these steps:

Choose the appropriate function,
then the specific field (column) to aggregate.

Pie Chart: This powerful chart allows you to display the most popular product, most performant sales rep., and all other comparisons in an efficient yet simple way. To create your perfect pie slices, follow these steps:

Choose the appropriate function,
then the specific field (column) to aggregate.

Stacked Bar Chart: This chart is for professionals and not the weak-hearted. It allows you to break down and compare parts of a whole. Whether you would like to compare the number of girls and boys by music instruments of choice or to compare the sum of expected deals per sales and status, this is your chart to choose. To create mind-blowing chart, follow these four easy steps:

Choose the appropriate function,
then the specific field (column) to aggregate,
the first breakdown criteria (x-axis),
the group by field (y-axis).

Table: Summary numeric results are sometimes not enough to have an accurate view of your data, here is where tables offer you the possibility of breaking down your analysis by an additional factor and grouping it by another. To generate this view, follow the same steps for creating the stacked bar.

Filter your reports

You can filter directly on your chart by using the report filters. It is a great way to display the exact information you need. You can filter by status, date, opt-out options, and many more things. Filtering by time intervals is the most common use of filtering. By default, Workiom displays aggregated data with no time limit. You can choose to focus on a specific date or change the date range.
