To ensure that you use Workiom in the most efficient way possible, it’s important that you have a very good grasp of the structure used, this will ensure that you can find what you’re looking for with minimal effort.
Structure
Workspace
When you complete your signup process you’d have created your workspace, with it’s unique URL, your workspace is where your data and work is organized under Apps.
Apps
Apps are where all the information on a specific project, team, function or purpose is stored, a CRM app for an example holds all the information necessary for your sales team to do their best work, the information within your Apps are categorized under Lists.
Lists
Grouping your data under lists helps ease the management of each set of information separately, by ensuring your Tasks and Records have just the right settings to help your team do their best work.
There are 2 types of lists, Tasks and Records, each is customized for what best suites its purpose.
Tasks & Records
Each row in your list is a Record or a Task, if the list is for Order Management each record is an order.
Fields
Fields are the columns in your lists, Workiom support a wide range of field types to help create just the right setup for your data
Views
Views offer different ways of displaying records in your list, each for a different purpose, Table is good for a holistic view, Board is good for managing processes, calendar is perfect for planning.
